The programme enables employers the opportunity to host a talented graduate on a 15-week internship who can bring up-to-date research, knowledge and fresh perspectives directly into their organisation.

The programme operates on a rolling basis, with flexible start dates up to March 2027 to support matching each graduate with a suitable internship. Start dates will be agreed to suit both the employer and participant.

Programme Highlights:

  • Open to registered companies, sole traders and partnerships based in Northern Ireland.
  • Employers are required to contribute £2,000, which will be invoiced within two weeks of the programme start date.
  • Interns will work maximum 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to accommodate individual circumstances where agreed between the employer and intern.
  • Interns will receive a £381 weekly bursary, administered directly by Ulster University.
