Their initiatives include major investments in local sourcing and renewable energy alongside community efforts like planting 5,000 native trees and fostering collective action by funding retailer and supplier sustainability programmes.”
Commenting on the awards, David Higgins, Retail Sales Director for Musgrave NI said:
“Congratulations to our retail partners on their well-deserved recognition at the Neighbourhood Retailer Awards. Winning the Outstanding Customer Service Award and Community Store of the Year, reflect the exceptional value, service, and community spirit across these stores, and are testament to the dedication and passion of the teams. We are also thrilled to have been awarded Sustainability Champion of the Year, as we continue to reduce our carbon emissions to reach our Net Zero carbon goal by 2040.”
A focal point in the retail industry calendar, the awards have been rewarding excellence and celebrating success in retailing since 1998. Independently and rigorously judged by Spotcheck, the Neighbourhood Retailer Awards are widely regarded as NI’s premier awards event for the industry, locally and nationally.
