Northern Ireland Family Business Forum Marks 10 Years

Family businesses across NI are invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Family Business Forum on Friday 17th October 2025, at W5, Belfast (9am–2pm)

Hosted by HM Chartered Accountants and Ulster University, for a decade this has been Northern Ireland’s only dedicated forum for family-owned businesses—offering honest conversations, practical advice, and lasting connections. From succession and governance to innovation and shared values, the Forum has championed the unique journey of family enterprises.

“This is more than a conference, it’s a community,” said Darren McDowell, Senior Partner, HM Chartered Accountants.
“Nothing is more powerful than your own story,” added Ian Smyth, Senior Lecturer, Ulster University.
