Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) is the owner of the electricity transmission and distribution networks in Northern Ireland, transporting electricity to over 966,000 customers including homes, businesses and farms.
An organisation of over 1,600 employees, every year NIE Networks contribute £200 million to the local economy, and over six years from 2025 – 2031 will invest £2.23bn to upgrade and operate the electricity network in Northern Ireland.
