Located on Ann Street in the heart of Belfast City Centre, we’re a family-owned award-winning seafood and fish & chip restaurant and takeaway that specialises in locally and sustainably sourced seafood dishes. We also offer a selection of vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free dishes, catering for specific dietary needs and allergens upon request. Guests can enjoy a comprehensive offering of beers, wines, and spirits, including local and international gins, Irish whiskies, craft beers and ciders.

At Fish City, we are committed to sourcing sustainable seafood for every dish on our menus. A Gold member with the Marine Conservation Society (MSC), we are proudly the first MSC-certified restaurant on the island of Ireland. We were also the first business in Northern Ireland to partner with Sustainable Fish Cities NI, a campaign led by Ulster Wildlife, Northern Ireland’s preeminent environmental charity, to advocate for local businesses to procure seafood products sustainably. In 2021, we were recognised by the MSC as one of eleven regional heroes across the UK for our commitment to conservation. From net to plate, we ensure full food traceability, working with local producers wherever possible, to offer our guests a menu that is both flavoursome and healthy.

Four dedicated dining rooms provide ample space to accommodate group dining, from our ground floor Main Deck and outdoor Terrace to comfortable and ambient dining in our first floor Fisherman’s Hut and Fisherman’s Cabin.
The Hut: Escape the elements and retreat to our Fisherman’s Hut, a relaxed dining room with nautical flair. With charming décor that celebrates fisheries and Belfast’s maritime past, the Hut is an ideal venue for large events.
The Cabin: With bench seating and a reclaimed Victorian bar fully stocked with a comprehensive selection of beers, wines, and spirits, the Cabin is an intimate, contemporary setting to enjoy a fine dining experience in luxurious style.
