The Belfast One Business Improvement District (BID) is an independent not-for-profit company for Belfast City Centre.

Belfast One is the core of the City Centre & a collective voice for City Centre businesses, which includes a diverse range of retail, hospitality and services all concentrated within approximately one square mile in Belfast City Centre. This is a dynamic, innovative and vibrant part of our City, with so much on offer across so little an area and Belfast One is well positioned to take the City Centre to the next level.

The Belfast One Business Improvement District was established in 2016 with a five-year mandate to deliver on its Business Plan. A renewal ballot was held in March 2021 and of the businesses which voted, 86% elected to remain being part of the BID. This totalled 95% by rateable value, meaning a 2nd BID term will run between 2021-2026.
