The multi-million pound transformation of one of South Belfast’s most iconic landmarks is finally complete. This Friday 6th February, the historic Malone Lodge Hotel officially enters its bold new chapter as The Malone, a high-end luxury boutique destination.
The reopening follows national acclaim, with The Malone recently named by The Times as the only hotel in Northern Ireland to feature in its ’24 best new hotels in the UK’ for the year ahead.
The project has been a significant driver for the local economy, creating 20 new jobs and supporting a network of local suppliers. To support this new luxury status, a high-calibre leadership team has been appointed, including:

The extensive transformation extends across the entire property, including the Greyhound Bar, Gallery restaurant, and a redesigned Lounge and Reception lobby. The hotel also introduces signature touches such as panoramic suites and bespoke art installations celebrating Belfast’s rich heritage.
The hotel will host a grand opening, welcoming local dignitaries, hospitality and business leaders to explore the new spaces.
