As part of the preparations for the Fleadh Cheoil, which will take place in Belfast from 2nd– 9th August, a number of road closures will be in place during the week of the event. We are keen to ensure that businesses and suppliers who operate within these areas are fully informed and supported.
We will hold a final set of online engagement sessions on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th July. The purpose of these sessions is to:
- outline the process for registering for access passes including information about the Accreditation Hub
- share the mitigations that are being put in place to help you operate during the week
- provide an opportunity for asking questions.
Andrew McQuillan from the Traffic Management Company will be in attendance, who will be available to answer any specific questions you may have.
Multiple sessions will be held for different industries. Please find information, times, and Teams links for each session here: Our Fleadh road closure information sessions on 6 and 7 July 2026 are for Belfast city centre businesses and suppliers.
We hope this session will be helpful in supporting your planning for services and activities during the Fleadh week, and we would very much value your participation. There is no need to register in advance for the session. Please just join the Teams link on the day.
