Belfast Chamber Strengthens US Business Links Through New York Trade Mission

Belfast Chamber is leading a high-level business delegation to New York as part of a trade mission designed to strengthen commercial ties and create new opportunities for trade, investment and collaboration between Northern Ireland and the United States.

The three-day visit, which will commence on Tuesday 16th June, will bring together over 30 representatives from a diverse range of sectors, reflecting the breadth and ambition of Belfast’s business community.

Led by Belfast Chamber CEO Clare Guinness, the delegation will participate in a programme of business meetings, conferences and networking events with influential leaders from across New York’s commercial landscape.

The programme will begin with a welcome reception hosted by Belfast City Council and NI Bureau at the Fitzpatrick Grand Central Hotel, followed by a business and networking breakfast delivered in partnership with Invest NI and hosted by Options Technology.

Among the key events on the itinerary is the New York New Belfast conference, hosted by Aisling Events on Thursday 18th June at the prestigious New York Athletic Club. The annual event brings together brings together civic, business and cultural leaders from both cities to strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Delegates will also attend a private showing of North Star, hosted by Queen’s University Belfast. Inspired by the words of Frederick Douglass, the immersive production explores themes of freedom, identity and belonging through music, movement and spoken word.
