Our City

Belfast is the second-biggest city on the island of Ireland, the capital city of Northern Ireland, and the gateway to the region. Our unique geography gives us dual access to both the UK and Europe, and we enjoy strong relationships internationally, particularly with the US.

There are 350,000 residents, and with a travel-to-work area of just under 1 million people, Belfast is the key socio-economic driver for the region. A better Belfast makes for a better Northern Ireland.
