A former professional rugby player with Ulster Rugby from 1997 to 2003 and a member of the 1999 European Cup-winning team, Jan joined Millar McCall Wylie LLP in 2003, qualifying as a solicitor in 2006 and was appointed Managing Partner in 2023. He created and developed the firm’s employment department and has extensive experience representing employers, counting a number of multinationals among his key clients. His expertise spans the full spectrum of employment law, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, trade union disputes, agency worker regulations, and data protection, while he also specialises in advising on shareholder disputes.
