Victoria Square, Belfast’s leading retail and leisure destination, has announced that global retailer Abercrombie & Fitch will be making its Northern Ireland debut at the centre later this year. This signing follows a series of regional firsts in recent years, reinforcing Victoria Square’s position as a key location for international brands.
The new Abercrombie & Fitch store will be located on the upper ground floor, in between LEGO and Sephora, the latter of which made its island of Ireland debut last month. The store will showcase the best of its timeless lifestyle brand heritage for women and men, further diversifying the strong retail offer at Victoria Square. Abercrombie & Fitch will also join sister brand Hollister at the destination, underlining the global retailer’s confidence in Belfast as an important market within its UK portfolio.
This signing comes off the back of a wave of success throughout last year. In 2025, the centre welcomed over 51,000 sq ft of new retailers and regional debuts, including SpaceNK, Bershka, LEGO, and Sephora, as well as a relocation and upsize for Inditex favourite, Pull & Bear. These additions not only drove footfall and created 206 new jobs for the Belfast community but also highlighted Victoria Square’s continued appeal and desirability as a regional must for independent and international brands. This success has carried into 2026, with footfall up 26% so far this year vs the same period in 2025.
Julie King, Senior Asset Manager at Commerz Real, said: “The signing of Abercrombie & Fitch showcases Victoria Square as a key location for retail brands and is a result of the immense success
we built throughout 2025. This signing builds on this momentum, creating more jobs, driving additional footfall, and amplifying brand confidence and interest in Victoria Square.”
Abercrombie & Fitch will further elevate Victoria Square’s significant and diverse retail line-up, which includes AllSaints, Superdry, Reiss, and The White Company. As well as its retail offer, the destination is home to a range of complementary beauty and cosmetic stores, such as Rituals, Sculpted by Aimee, and M.A.C.
