Protecting our Healthcare Professionals has always been central to the work undertaken by Northern Ireland Respiratory Protective Equipment (NIRPE). As part of their continued growth and expansion they are extending the capacity of fit testing services following the Quantitative APC Method.

RPE Fit Testers provide a vital service to our Healthcare Professionals ensuring that their RPE equipment matches the wearers facial features and seals adequately to their face. It will also help identify unsuitable face pieces that should not be used. Our RPE Fit Testers are not only knowledgeable but are warm and friendly providing reassurance and support, giving professionals confidence that they can continue providing the best possible patient care. Testers are responsible for accurately recording RPE data, maintenance and management of the equipment used for testing.
