Guidance Notes for Ratepayers Affected by the Bank Buildings Fire
Belfast Chamber, as part of continued efforts to support its members and Belfast businesses, lobbied for Hardship Relief Rates for city centre businesses affected by the Bank Buildings fire.
Belfast Chamber worked with Land & Property Services (LPS) on rates advice for businesses impacted by the Primark fire and review of the Hardship Scheme resulting in Hardship Rate Relief Scheme to assist businesses recover from a temporary crisis.
At the Belfast Business Forum organised by Belfast Chamber, Rajesh Rana encouraged impacted organisations to familiarise themselves with guidance notes for ratepayers and apply for the Hardship Rate Relief.
The guidance notes are now available to download.
Deadline
Applications should be made as soon as possible but must be received by LPS by 31 March 2019 at the latest.
