Openreach, Northern Ireland’s largest digital infrastructure provider, has reached a milestone in its Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband network build programme. Over 75% of Belfast, and the greater Belfast area, can now access Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband on the Openreach network making Belfast the third most digitally connected city in the UK*.
Reaching this milestone is significant, with greater connectivity supporting economic recovery in the wider Belfast community and beyond across the whole of Northern Ireland.
Belfast Chamber is pleased to partner with our member Openreach, to speak to some local Belfast businesses across a range of different sectors to find out how they have been able to adapt and remain agile in the current climate – embracing the latest technologies available and using the power of digital connectivity via Ultrafast Full Fibre broadband to both recover and grow.
