Belfast Chamber hosts US Special Envoy
Belfast Chamber have today welcomed US Special Envoy Mick Mulvaney to the city centre where he was given a tour by Belfast Chamber President Michael Stewart and chief Executive Simon Hamilton.
Commenting, Belfast Chamber Chief Executive Simon Hamilton said, “It was a pleasure to host the US Special Envoy Mr Mick Mulvaney during his visit to Belfast today. Whilst our city may not be as bustling at the minute as we would like, Mr Mulvaney was still able to see a city that has been transformed in recent years and continues to change before our eyes. Developments like the new Ulster University campus which Mr Mulvaney was able to see first-hand are breathing new life into Belfast. Belfast is home to many great American firms and the US remains an important trading partner for a large number of local businesses. We at Belfast Chamber hope that that fruitful relationship can continue and indeed flourish in the time ahead”.
