Belfast Chamber Announces KPMG as Partner for Annual Lunch

Belfast Chamber have announced global professional services firm KPMG as its partner for its Annual Lunch which is being held next month in the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Shaw’s Bridge, Belfast on Wednesday 23 October. The event will be addressed by Belfast Chamber Chief Executive Simon Hamilton and President of Dublin Chamber and Chief Executive of Tourism Ireland Niall Gibbons, who will talk about how businesses in the two cities can trade more with each other in the years ahead.

Commenting, Belfast Chamber President Rajesh Rana said, “Belfast Chamber is delighted to partner with KPMG for our Annual Lunch on Wednesday 23 October. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Boosting Business Links Between Belfast and Dublin’. At this particular time, focusing on how we can boost trade between the two biggest cities on the island is perhaps more important than ever.

Belfast and Dublin already benefit from good linkages, but Belfast Chamber is keen to develop them even further. To that end, we are actively exploring how we can work with Dublin Chamber on practical measures that encourage businesses to look at the huge opportunities there are in doing business on both sides of the border.

KPMG – with its all-island focus – are the perfect partners for Belfast Chamber and our Annual Lunch and we look forward to hearing from them on how they are supporting their clients to trade more with our nearest neighbours”.

Ashleen Feeney, Partner at KPMG, added, “KPMG are delighted to support Belfast Chamber’s 2019 Annual Lunch: Boosting Business links between Belfast and Dublin. KPMG’s teams in Belfast and Dublin regularly collaborate to support our clients to realise their growth ambitions. In the face of continued uncertainty, it is vital that businesses along the Eastern Economic Corridor connect and collaborate too, to drive economic growth and help build a prosperous future for all.”
