Footprints Women’s Centre

Established in the Colin area of Belfast in 1991, Footprints Women’s Centre supports the delivery of positive change in the lives of local women and children.

As the area’s largest community employer, we deliver award winning services from  our multi-site facility and Green Flag award winning gardens and outdoor spaces.

We operate a Daycare facility, Cookery School, Café/catering service, Training services, Family and Womens support and crisis intervention services.

Working from a social enterprise approach we have developed partnerships with Local government and VCS organisations in creating social impact and change.

Footprints opened Northern Ireland first Social Supermarket in 2017, as part of our sustainable living strategy. We also operate pop up shops in local organisations and centres. To date our model has diverted over 84 tonnes of surplus food from retailers to local families experiencing food poverty.

We operate a corporate charity partnership with PriceWaterHouseCooper.
