Rajesh Rana is Director of Andras House, which is a Belfast-based hotel and property group.
Andras is Belfast's largest hotelier, and currently owns and operates 1000 rooms in seven hotels in the city. The latest opening was the Hampton by Hilton, which opened in June 2018. This was a key opening for the Hilton corporation as this is the only Hampton by Hilton in the island of Ireland. Andras has further hotels planned in Portrush, Derry as well as in Belfast.
Andras House is also a property developer with a portfolio of seven office buildings in Belfast. These include Lincoln Building, which was successfully refurbished and let to blue-chip tenants Deloitte and Axiom, with a ground floor Anytime Fitness gym. Lincoln Building won an award at the 2018 Belfast Telegraph Property Awards for the quality of its fit-out.
Rajesh trained as an architect and worked in the field of urban design across the UK for 10 years. During this period Rajesh helped to produce the original Development Framework for Titanic Quarter.
Rajesh is involved with the Project Hope group which seeks to bring forward coordinated regeneration of southwest central Belfast.
Rajesh was elected to President of Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce in June 2018 and also sits on the Board of the Grand Opera House.
Rajesh lives in Belfast with his wife Olivia, a writer, and two young children.
