From 2000 to 2007 Andrew led the business redevelopment of St. George’s Market and created the Continental Markets at Belfast City Hall. In 2007 he was appointed Belfast City Centre Manager. In this position Andrew led the campaign for the introduction of legislation to allow Business Improvements Districts (BIDs) in Northern Ireland then led the development of the Belfast One and Central Business District BIDs. In 20016 Andrew left his position to become a Methodist Minister and now ‘wears two hats’; being the Chief Executive of East Business Mission and the Lead Chaplain at Belfast City Centre Chaplaincy. EBM is a large inner city mission which is major provider of homelessness, employability and cross-community services. The City Centre Chaplaincy is a new inter-denominational project providing pastoral care to people working and living in Belfast City Centre.
