Adrian Doyle

With almost 30 years’ experience in the live events and entertainment industry, Adrian Doyle began his career in food and beverage operations at Wembley Stadium before becoming operations manager at Wembley Arena. In 2000, he moved to Belfast to join the then Odyssey Arena (now The SSE Arena) management team, ahead of the venue’s historic opening. 

For the last 21 years, Adrian has been at the helm of operations at Northern Ireland’s largest entertainment venue, driving advancement and innovation in visitor experience. In 2015, Adrian moved from his position as General Manager of the Arena to become The Odyssey Trust’s Director of Experience of Operations, with responsibility for the performance of the Arena, W5 and the Belfast Giants. Adrian has driven a commitment to achieve the Best Experience Every Time for customers across the Odyssey estate.

A Board member of the European Arenas Association, Adrian also played a key role in the establishment of the Arenas Resilience Alliance, a lobby body that raised awareness of the challenges facing live event venues, their cities and communities as a result of Covid-19, directly with the European Union..

Adrian also served on a number of industry advisory sub committees, including the Tourism NI venues group, providing valuable insights that were referred back to the highest levels of government on a safe and sustainable emergence from the pandemic.
