What We Do

Lobbying and representation are very important aspects of BCTC membership. We lobby locally, regionally and nationally with Government and other authorities on issues that are of concern to our members. BCTC particularly engages with Belfast City Council, Belfast City Centre Regeneration Directorate, Department for Social Development and the Northern Ireland Assembly. Members' views are actively sought and expressed, and we ensure that your opinions and demands are recognised.

Networking is an essential aspect of business and BCTC events enable members to meet in a relaxed and informal environment. These include speed networking, wine tasting evenings, Belfast Business Awards, focus groups, business forums and business breakfasts/lunches with guest speakers.

These events keep members abreast of the latest developments in the city centre and create opportunities to establish new contacts, strengthen existing relationships and generate new business.
