Chamber President Calls for Entries -
One-Week Left to Enter the Belfast Business Awards.

With just one week left to enter the highly coveted Belfast Business Awards, Belfast Chamber of Trade & Commerce, alongside principal sponsor, Bank of Ireland UK and event hostess, Sarah Travers are putting out a call to all Belfast businesses that haven’t already done so, to enter.

Speaking about the Awards, Paul McMahon, President of Belfast Chamber of Trade and Commerce said: “We have just extended the entry deadline by one week (Tuesday 7th April 2015), in a bid to give as many Belfast businesses the opportunity to enter and encourage all to do so”.

“We have 15 categories, which were carefully selected to cover many areas of business within our vibrant city from retail, hospitality, digital marketing, sustainability, to growth and individual awards – there is a category for everyone, irrespective of their size”.

“We have also put together an entry tool kit for those businesses who maybe haven’t entered before, this is available from www.belfastbusinessawards.co.uk and will guide entrants through the exact requirements as written by the judges”.

Paul concluded, “We encourage as many businesses to enter as possible and want to highlight that you do not have to be a Chamber member to enter, the awards are open to everyone. Entry is free and accessible from www.belfastchamber.com.

Mark O’Brien, Commercial Bank Manager, Belfast City Branch, Bank of Ireland UK, commented: “These awards are a testimony to the fantastic businesses that our capital city has to offer, and Bank of Ireland UK, as principal sponsor would like to encourage as many industries as possible to enter.

“The business community in Northern Ireland is working hard to deliver its ambitions and there is no better way to celebrate this by winning an award, which is fantastic not only for your own business and your stakeholders, but indeed for your suppliers and staff, which in turn benefits the entire community as a whole.”

The Belfast Business Awards will take place at Belfast City Hall on Wednesday 27th May 2015. If you are interested in entering the Belfast Business Awards visit www.belfastchamber.com. Entry deadline has been extended to Tuesday 7th April 2015.
