City Centre Beat is a specialist PSNI team dedicated to dealing with crime and anti-social behaviour in the city centre. BCTC fund this team and our members havea dedicated telephone number to the City Centre Beat Officers.
Chamber events enable members to meet in a relaxed, informal environment. Events range from business networking evenings, lunches and breakfast meetings. Invitations to attend events such as the Retail Forum and various city centre Focus Groups will provide you with the opportunity to talk directly to representatives of Belfast City Council, DRD Roads Service, the PSNI and other agencies.

Members are provided with a powerful two-way radio which is networked to other members and the PSNI. Essentially Radiolink helps members to detect and monitor the movements of known shoplifters and criminals in the the city centre.
Members work in partnership with statutory bodies to help tackle the problem of theft from retail premises. By sharing information and imposing civil exclusion orders on known shoplifters, city centre retailers have been able to dramatically reduce stock losses.
